Tim Burchett, a Congressman from Tennessee, has alleged quite a few times that the American government has been dealing in reverse-engineered technology from UFOs. In a recent interview with Newsweek, he claimed that the government had recovered multiple crafts over time. He mentioned that he had been in conversation with quite a few pilots in the upper echelons of the Navy who had informed him that there was something that the government was definitely trying to use all the ET craft that they had managed to salvage over the decades.

Why Does A Congressman Believe That The US Government Is Dealing In Reverse Engineered Technology From UFOs?
The comments from the Congressman about the government dealing in reverse-engineered technology from UFOs surface in the middle of a mania resulting from three unidentified flying objects that had been shot down by the US military a couple of weeks ago. The public was informed that these were supposed Chinese spy balloons, and none of the objects that had been shot down were of extraterrestrial origin. An article that was published regarding this mania, titled, “The Recent UFO Craze In Mainstream News and How It Detracts From A Very Real, Very Mysterious Phenomenon”, discusses this event and how it affects the collective mass. The article questioned the necessity of widespread media coverage of balloons and other gadgets, but complete radio silence when it came to cases that would make the public question the very fabric of reality.
A large section of people involved in conspiracy theories and other associated fields are of the opinion that the US government will deceive the public, and claim that UFOs are absolutely extraterrestrial in order to hide their own agenda of weaponizing space and other interests. But if history were to teach us anything, it is that the US government has somehow felt the need to malign and ridicule the extraterrestrial hypothesis for quite some time now.
One of the most famous examples of this ridicule is Project Bluebook- a decades-old program that was all about investigating the UFO phenomenon from 1952-1969. What the program actually discovered in their search was never directly relayed to the public, and it did seem like this program was developed to actually debunk the UFO phenomenon- which would then lead to people not asking questions about it anymore. And it would also result in people not believing in the possibility of otherworldly explanations. Interestingly, it is more possible for a government to blame another country for the appearance of the UFOs, rather than accepting that they have been dealing in reverse engineered technology from UFOs- otherwise, what could be the reason behind them ignoring or snubbing things that defy one’s understanding of reality?
People In Positions of Power and Respect Think There Is Something Extraterrestrial In Place
Incidentally, Tim Burchett isn’t the only individual in a position of power to believe that the government had been experimenting with reverse engineered technologies from UFOs. These beliefs had been shared by several respected individuals over many years. Dr. Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut on Apollo 14, had previously stated that there was evidence of crashed crafts and the bodies recovered from the crash site. Along with Dr. Mitchell, another famous individual to go down a similar strain of thought was Eric W. Davis- a renowned astrophysicist, the Chief Science Officer of EarthTech International, Inc. and the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin in Austin, Texas. Davis has also served as the Owner/Chief Scientist/Chief Executive of Warp Drive Metrics. To add to his impressive portfolio, he is also the Adjunct Professor of Astrophysics, Space Physics, and Engineering Research at Baylor University.
In 2020, Davis claimed that in certain cases the examination of the material that had been retrieved from several UFOs couldn’t determine the source. This led Davis to believe that the source must be somewhere extraterrestrial- for humans couldn’t have made it themselves. The New York Times later explained that Davis, who worked at Aerospace Corp as a defense contractor, had stated that he gave a classified briefing to a Defense Department Agency about the retrieval of off-world vehicles that were not created on Earth. A former Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Intelligence from 1997 to 2002, Christopher Mellon, also confirmed his presence during this testimony.
Another individual who had come into possession of several documents suggesting the desperate need of the United Kingdom to capture some of the reverse engineered technology from UFOs was Dr. David Clarke- an investigative journalist, lecturer, and reader at Sheffield Hallam University- who had also served as the curator for the National Archives UFO Project from 2008-2013. The former Defence Minister of Canada, Paul Hellyer, had also claimed that the main protocol that military jets followed when intercepting UFOs was to shoot first and research later. The summary is that Burchett isn’t the only individual in a position of power to believe in reverse engineered technology from UFOs.
Although, in a really twisted way, the mainstream disclosure of UFOs today could be used by the government to maintain a semblance of secrecy around the subject by painting a really wild description of the event- while keeping the truth under wraps. As it turns out, with more popularity, coverage, and importance given to this particular field of reverse engineered technology from UFOs, the gap between what we know and what we don’t is simply expanding. And the going gets tough when too many people believe that they have the final say in this matter.
