Throughout their lives, Nubs, Snowman and A-Factor have been outcasts, but they haven’t let this stop them from achieving their dreams. Instead, they have found refuge in what makes them different and are inspiring many with their unique style and empowering lyrics. Meet the Odd Squad Family.
Nubs, which is an acronym for Normally Underestimated By Sight, was born with a rare condition which means that he has no arms or legs. Rather than let bullying get him down, he chose to put his “real life trials and tribulations into his tracks.” Snowman was also born with a rare condition – albinism. Just like Nubs, Snowman has dealt with many struggles growing up and uses hip hop to express his feelings. Though A-Factor does not have a rare condition, he has had his own battles to overcome throughout life and he tells all in his music.
Their music video entitled ‘Done Did’ is equipped with a positive message and heartfelt lyrics detailing the battles they have overcome. Not only is the chorus catchy but it’s also powerful “I done did everything they said i shouldn’t do, i done did everything they said i wouldn’t do, i done did everything i couldn’t do. And with God as my witness, I made it through.”
