This Creative Street Artist Is Turning NYC’s Streets Into A Giant Playground

The world is too serious, sometimes, which is why we’re celebrating imaginative street art by Tom Bob. The playful artist has been running amok on the streets of New York and Massachusetts and in his wake, leaving whimsical artwork.

His creations — which range from monkey electric meters to a ‘Blinky’ (the red ghost from Pac-Man) sewer drain — are both thoughtful and humorous. Indeed, Bob sees possibilities when others usually only see industrial materials.

From a manhole cover becoming a frying pan to a romantic heart-and-key installation, his imagination seems endless. Following are some of his most popular works:
