The Tower of David and the thousands of people in Jerusalem witnessed this historical event. Koolulam is known for organizing such large group singing events. They are generally attended by non-professional singers.

The idea behind the events is to promote religious harmony through music. It aims to bring people together, under one roof, singing one song. Thousands sang ‘One Love’ in this major event and all of them belonged to different faiths.
Koolulam had invited people who were strangers to each other for this special event. It was organized to show honor to Sheikh Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf, Indonesia’s religious leader, visiting Israel.
Staquf is the secretary-general of Nahdlatul Ulama, an Indonesia-based Muslim organization. It is the world’s largest Muslim organization with about 60 million members.
Sheikh Haji had watched one of Koolulam’s videos. After this, he contacted Koolulam to become a part of this inter-faith singing event. It so happened that the Tower of David and Jerusalem were also ready to be its sponsors.
