Odeith: This Street Artist Creates Illusions On Cement Blocks
Tags: opinion
Odeith is a master illusionist with a can of spray paint! Be it a regular wall or a cement block, this street artist from Portugal can transform any dull surface into his masterpiece. The visual depth he can add to flat surfaces makes his creations extremely realistic. One of his most successful endeavors has been the cement block that he turned into a wrecked school bus.
The cement structure was standing in an abandoned warehouse and Odieth decided to create something mind-blowing on it.
The wrecked appearance of the bus matches its surroundings perfectly. At first glance, you will probably think it is just a rotting piece of junk. But when you see the ‘before” photograph, you will realize the true potential of Odeith. A closer inspection will show you how technically skilled he is. It is his attention to detail and the ability to play with light and shadows that make his masterpieces come to life. With this bus block, he painted the shadows exactly as the light from the open roof comes in.
Apart from this illusion, he has been working on many other 3D street art pieces.
