Travel in style this summer in Nissan’s new fully-electric camper van. Whether you seek to explore the outdoors with a special friend or want to go on a group adventure, the e-NV200 Camper can accommodate your desires.

According to a press release by the automobile company, the hipster-looking vehicle is fully-electric and has interior and exterior modifications that make it perfect for off-grid travel.

An elevating roof makes the interior spacious enough for four people to stand. And, it’s easy to cook with an authentic kitchen that includes a refrigerator, sinks, and water and gas installations. When the sun falls and it’s time for sleep, the Nissan camper converts into a comfortable bedroom complete with a window shade and stationary heating.

Right now, the e-NV200 is only available to customers in Spain. But hopefully soon, eco-enthusiasts elsewhere will be able to pre-order their own. There is also no word on the pricing.

Said Francesc Corberó, communication director of Nissan Iberia: ”The new Nissan Camper range will allow the most adventurous to have a balcony with views of the most incredible places in the world and enjoy the essence of traveling with family or friends.”

Living sustainably isn’t a “hippy” thing, it is a “human” thing. There is no excuse to burn fossil fuels for energy when it is possible to convert natural resources, including sun and wind, into energy. As this mindset catches on, the demand for eco-friendly transportation will continue to increase.

There has been a massive response to news of Nissan’s new fully-electric camper van. Undoubtedly, in the future, other prototypes and ideas for alternative transportation will be unveiled. What are your thoughts? Please comment below and share this news!
