A beekeeper and cannabis advocate in France has dedicated himself to combine the best of both worlds. The result is- “cannahoney” a brand new delicious brand of nectar.
Nicolas Trainerbees is the man behind “Cannahoney” and offers something that no one else can with awesome photos and videos of the cannabis bees at work, and a great strain of the cannabis/honey concoction. Nicolas describes himself as a medical cannabis advocate and has been a force in the fight for legalisation.
He is an observer of insects with bees being his speciality, and has said he trains them so that they behave as he wishes.
“I have trained bees to do several things, such as collect sugar from fruits, instead of using flowers”. This led him to study the world of animal entomology, biology, cannabis growing and everything related to the world of bees.
He has been working with the bees to produce “cannahoney”, however when we spoke with him he said he “can’t sell it now as the cost is too high” he also added that he needs to “improve his tech” for it to be a viable option.
Nicolas uses a few varieties of cannabis and has said that, “the bees accept any strain” He added that “Cannahoney” normally has “quite a floral” aroma and a colour that will change slightly, but usually ranges from light green to white or yellow. The substance “is not smoked, it is ingested and it is good for health”
