Cannabis-Laced Tampons Can Remedy Period Pain In Just 30 Minutes

When Mother Flo makes her monthly visit, do you find yourself curled up in the fetal position, desperately wishing for relief? If so, you may benefit from cannabis vaginal suppositories.

According to Foria Relief, a manufacturer of the revolutionary feminine products, the cannabis-laced tampons “[allow] for more pleasant signals to be received by the brain.” This is due to THC and CBD, components of the cannabis plant. Because the tampon is inserted close to where the pain originates, it is effective at providing pain relief.

Most women reported a relief of symptoms within 15-30 minutes of inserting the tampons. As a result, some makers have suggested the suppositories be inserted rectally to help those who suffer from hip or back pain. The use, of course, is entirely up to the consumer.

Marijuana has a long cross-cultural history of use as a natural aid in easing symptoms. As a result, there are many brands to choose from in states where marijuana is legal for medicinal use. Don’t expect the suppositories to be cheap, however. In Colorado and California, for instance, you can purchase a four-pack of Foria cannabis-laced tampons for $44. That’s approximately $11 a tampon.
