15 Yoda Quotes That Could Help You Stay Away From The Dark Side

In the darkest of times, we are left to fend for ourselves. We have to necessarily find that reserve of inner strength to tide over the crisis. This we can only do if we are in harmony with our inner calm. Master Yoda, the ‘Star Wars’ super warrior, is all about finding this peace.
This most loved character, short in height but the wisest of them all, does not as such use any destructive gadgets but channels the ‘Force’ of nature to defeat his enemies. This ability to channelize nature arises from finding that very peace within oneself.
Yoda teaches us how to be one with nature in order to guide the power within, even in the face of adversities. All inner turmoil should be channeled to locate this original resolve. Our favorite sensei from the Star Wars franchise has time and again gently prodded his young disciples to find this positivity within them to fight the dark side, despite all temptations.

The wisdom of master Yoda is spread all over the storyline of the movie series.
The unassuming master always advises us to recognize the power of knowledge. It gives us the strength to rise in life:
“Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.”
“In a dark place we find ourselves, and a little more knowledge lights our way.”
“Mind what you have learned. Save you it can.”
In The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda is heard saying:
“Judge me by my size, do you?”
If we have knowledge, age or size doesn’t matter, when it’s about the Force of life and nature.
We can learn from everyone we come across. Despite their age or size, we should always consider the opinions of others. A student can leave a lesson for the teacher. So, the Jedi says:
“Truly wonderful the mind of a child is.”
He reminds us,
“Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice.”
“Always pass on what you have learned.”
The sensei of the war series actually doesn’t support wars. He has often come up with wise words like:
“Great warrior. Wars not make one great”
“In this war, a danger there is, of losing who we are.”
“Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.”
He rather tells us
“A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.”

Often, Yoda encourages virtues of patience, of learning from our failures, and winning over our fears:
“The greatest teacher, failure is.”
“Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering”
Yoda tells Luke:
“Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things.”
An enlightened one understands the significance and meaning of the journey he wants to make. And at the end,
“Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.”
Even if you are not a Star Wars fan, these words of Yoda can help improve your life.
