The Egyptian Connection To The American Flag

BLuke Miller Truth Theory

The American flag was created in 1777 as a symbol of American freedom from the British, but the flag and other American symbolism also has a connection to ancient Egypt.

Neter is the egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that many believe to be an axe, however in Francis Griffith’s book A Collection of Hieroglyphs: A Contribution to the History of Egyptian Writing (1898), he claims the ‘’ symbol is a bone with a roll of cloth wrapped around it, in other words a flag. This is not exclusive to America, but flags in general.

The word “Neter” translates as God, which could be interpreted as the flag being a symbolic representation of God:

As taken from the Enciclomedia Of Human Thermodynamic: A section from 3200BC pre-dynastic Egyptian green slate, showing the various weapons used by the Egyptian hunter-warriors, one of which is a “axe” like object, which in Dynastic times, became the word “neter“, shown by the hieroglyph “”, meaning the word “god“, which was translated in Judaism (700BC) as the word “El“, meaning “mighty, might, strong, power”, which became in Coptic “nutra”, thereafter rendered as “nature” (Brugsch, 1888), “kraft” (force), or power.

In the military book “How To Respect And Display Our Flag” they reference the influence of Egypt:

“The star is a symbol of the heavens and the divine goal to which man has aspired from time immemorial; the stripe is symbolic of the rays of light emanating from the sun. Both themes have long been represented on the standards of nations, from the banners of the astral worshippers of ancient Egypt and Babylon”

The American flag was created in 1777, when the Continental Congress passed an act establishing an official flag for the new nation. 5 years later “The Great Seal” was created, a seal that was physically placed on important documents and is also used on government appointed documents, such as passports.

One of the images on “The Great Seal” is that of the great pyramid, which also includes the eye above it. This is symbolic of the eye of Horus, who was the falcon god of the sky and war.

The other seal includes an eagle and is where the US differentiates itself from Ancient Egypt. Horus was a human hybrid with the head of a hawk. The hawk being a lot more agile than the eagle, known for its ability to glide effortlessly through the air for long periods and is also considered to be one of the most intelligent of birds. The eagle is more a symbol of power and strength, but is less intelligent than the hawk.

The great seal is also included on the $1 bill, with the words “In God We Trust” god being the English translation of “Neter”, which as I said earlier was symbolised by the hieroglyph of a flag:

The American flag is thought to represent all that is American, however, its roots lay in other cultures. The National anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” was created to symbolise this, and the fact that America is the land of freedom. However, within the anthems verses that are not usually sung are some disturbing lines.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave

From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Francis Scott Key, was the wealthy American lawyer and slave owner who wrote the anthem, who famously said that black people are “a distinct and inferior race of people, which all experience proves to be the greatest evil that afflicts a community.” In this line condemning slaves to the grave, this is clearly seen.

A lot of the foundational structure which modern day America is build upon was done through bloodshed and violence. This started from the inception and massacre of the Native Americans and continued until very recently with slavery. If this has always been the American way, we should take a look at the current system and ask- who is now being oppressed to maintain the expansion of the American empire?
