The artist is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, John, and knows how difficult it can be to stay true to one person. For most people, this is because a significant other mirrors one’s inner most insecurities and this, in turn, propels the affected individual to run away or change. Fortunately, Chetwynd and John have made it work — and continue to love each other more-so each day because of it.
According to BuzzFeed news, the artist’s comics continue to become more and more popular, and this is because the style of her artwork is so relatable. In fact, many fans share that the comics remind them of being with their own partner. Sometimes, people even say that the artwork inspires them to be kinder to their loved ones.
“My favorite responses are the messages from fans that say that we have helped their relationships,” said Chetwynd. “A lot of people say it helps remind them to be silly and flirty with their significant other when times get a little rocky.”
