Artist Creates Animations That Portray “Earth’s Struggles With Humans”
Artist František Czanner has created a series of illustrations that capture the toxic relationship that the planet has with human beings. The project is called “Angry Earth.”
“Why the cartoon project ANGRY EARTH? Because one picture is more than 1000 words. Each of us is capable of changing something, as our daily decisions leave traces on the environment,” Czanner says.
Czanner has pages up on both Facebook and Instagram where he shares his thought-provoking art, where you can see more images like the ones found below.
As Truth Theory reported earlier this week, plastic pollution is becoming ubiquitous on our planet.
According to new research published in the journal, Environmental Science and Technology, the average person can absorb anywhere from 74,000 and 121,000 particles of microplastic each year.
According to a report published by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, if the current rate of plastic pollution continues, there will be more plastic in the oceans than there are fish by the year 2050.
Last month, a humpback whale washed up dead on a Scottish beach, entangled in fishing gear. The plastic and fishing nets in the ocean are one of the greatest threats to the humpback whale.
As humans cause more problems for the ecosystem, the earth will continue to be a more difficult place to live and survive.
Species all over the world are slowly becoming endangered and extinct.
