In Supermarkets People Are Panic Buying Every Beer Brand Except Corona
By Ruan Van Zijl / Truth Theory
Over the past few months, the world has changed dramatically with the coronavirus spreading almost all over the world. A Crazy thing has been happening in supermarkets, people have been panic buying alcohol, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc.
One thing that has me scratching my head is that people are panic buying alcohol. Now that is all fair and well if they want to buy alcohol. The Problem is there seems to be a stigma that people believe they can get coronavirus from corona beer.
Well, that is completely not true the reason why the coronavirus has the same name as corona beer is “corona” means crown in Latin. Coronavirus is a family of viruses named that way because they have little spikes (protein receptors) on their surfaces that make them look like little crowns.
That is why it is called the coronavirus and it’s got nothing to do with corona beer.
As illustrated below this is what has been happening all over the world.
The only beer left in Sainsbury's.
Lets hope they make Corona pasta, rice and toilet rolls soon. pic.twitter.com/dHtotX3qgI— Chris Carubia 🔶 (@cllrccarubia) March 20, 2020
