Remember the character Hot Pie from Game of Thrones? In real life, the actor, named Ben Hawkey, is also a baker! Inspired by his role on the HBO series, Hawkey decided to open his own bakery called… wait for it… You Know Nothing Jon Dough!
Best of all, the Game of Thrones-inspired bakery is serving up Direwolf loaves, which fans from all over the world are eager to purchase. The loaves are made from whole wheat cornbread with orange zest and are reportedly drool-worthy when served with slightly warm and soft butter.
“Hot Pie’s Direwolf loaves are a favorite for Game of Thrones fans, and people are always asking me for the secret of my recipe,” Hawkey told Digital Spy. “I can’t share that, but Deliver customers will have the chance to try them themselves. You don’t even need to take a dangerous walk down the King’s Road to visit, it comes to you.”
Just in time for the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere, the bakery opened on July 17th. To find the bakery, just search “You Know Nothing Jon Dough” in the Deliveroo app.
Unsurprisingly, the Direwolf loaves are selling out at a furious pace. Such is probably because they are selling for only £1!
