Artist Covers Soon-To-Be-Demolished House In Murals To Remind That Beauty Is Fleeting

There’s something ecstatic about the impermanence of life. Because everything is fleeting, beauty can be found in the darkest or even most troubling of times. One individual who agrees with this notion is Melbourne street artist Rone, whose full name is Tyrone Wright.

Recently, Rone completed a project called “The Omega Project.” As Bored Panda relays, it is part of “his longstanding interest in the concept of creating something beautiful within the context of decay and decline.”

Murals were forged inside a soon-to-be demolished house in Australia, which is the last remaining home on a development site. Though the exhibition was open for only a few weeks, it inspired many in the short period of time. Rone’s goal was to remind people that beauty is fleeting.
