Plastics haven’t been around for more than a century, and yet they have brought us to a position where we are finding it really hard to replace them. And yes, while it is always encouraging to see people finally notice the climate change and actively work to tackle it, humans need new innovations to replace the past objects. And right now, Time is of the essence.

This brings us to the new initiative created by Roza Janusz called ‘SCOBY’, which has been taken up by the MakeGrowLab in Poland. The initiative is ingenious- a waste bag that decomposes just like a vegetable.

This packet is made of agricultural waste, and can also be used to store food products.

The best thing about this is that it is a 100% decomposable.

The creator behind it had one simple motto: making humans realize that they are causing pollution due to the continuous and prolonged use of petroleum-based products.

The product can be made from ingredients grown locally, and don’t take up much space.
