Way back in 2015, when we were still able to go out and enjoy outdoor activities, one guy from Texas decided to shoot an armadillo. While such activities are common in Texas, this man was taken aback by what followed.

We all know how armadillos have a thick and hard outer covering on their body. When this man shot an armadillo, the bullet bounced from the hard shell and did a little boomerang. It went right back and hit the man in his face. A classic case of Karma hitting back?
“He went outside and took his .38 revolver and shot three times at the armadillo,” Mr. Rowe said to Reuters. The incident happened in the early hours of the day when the man spotted the armadillo on his property.

The incident happened in Cass County, Texas. But after the incident took place, the sheriff of the county, Rowe, said they never found the heroic armadillo. The shooter had to be taken to a nearby hospital where he had his jaw wired shut.
Twitterati, especially animal lovers, had a field day with this incident. Ricky Gervais, comedian and animal rights support, probably had the best word for the whole drama: “Karmadillo”!
