# Decoding The Number System: The Power Of Doubling 7

By Luke Miller Truth Theory

Something incredibly interesting is happening at the moment which I am trying to make sense of, after a mystical experience I have developed a skill for decoding things, numbers being a part of that. I think I have discovered something new, but I am sure I will be corrected should this not be the case.

7 is a very interesting number in the fact that if you removed it from the number sequence it would not have an impact on the rest of the numbers. However it is a number that governs many things, with so many of the life/natural cycles of the universe being in 7s. I won’t go into to much detail with that now, but will write about it in the future.

Anyway here is my discovery, if you take 7 and continue to double it you get this pattern-

7

14

28

56

112

224

448

896

1792

3584

7168

14336

28672

This may seem insignificant, but when you add the numbers up you get a sequence.

7=7

1+4=5

2+8=10 1+0=1

And this goes on to create the sequence 7, 5, 1, 2, 4, 8 this sequence then repeats over and over. If you then take a piece of paper and draw a circle with 9 points and draw out this sequence you get a shape which is a parallelogram and a rhombus, basically a mirror image of each other.

Obviously my maths is better than my art! In a previous article in which I broke down the numbers into metaphors this shows a visual representation of what I described 7 to be.

7 is the cosmic joke. The thing that needs not be there, but on further inspection you realise how important it is. 7 like the golden ration governs a lot, many cycles are in 7s yet it cannot be divided by any whole number. It is the paradox, the dualistic nature of the world and can be interpreted in many ways. Basically 7 is the mirror, and this image that appears as a result of this pattern creates a mirror image. This means numbers can be turned into metaphors (or at least in this case), in which the images can be turned into words, which in short could mean we could create a metaphorical language with numbers.

In 1623 the astronomer Galileo Galilei said that the entire universe “is written in the language of mathematics”, the problem is the spiritual connotation of numbers have been removed and they are looked at in a very straight way from mainstream science. To think that we could have a language based solely in numbers may seem strange for some, but I feel that I am on my way to writing that language. Anyone who has any input on this feel free to comment below, I will need help! Much love, Luke
