In mainstream science the pineal gland is a tiny little pine cone shaped gland in your brain which produces melatonin which helps to regulate your sleep cycles.
But asides from science it has been referenced to in multiple spiritual and ancient teachings as something a lot more significant and is sometimes
referred to as the third eye or the seat of the soul.
In ancient Egypt it is known as The Eye Of Ra or The Eye Of Horus, named after powerful ancient Egyptian god and goddesses.
Ancient Assyrian palace carvings, dating back to 713-716 BC depict four-winged God-like figures purposefully holding aloft pinecones
The chakra system which is thought to have originated in 1500 and 500 BC in India and then branched out to some eastern countries such as China have the the 6th Chakra which is representative of the third eye.
The Tree of Life.
The pineal gland also spirals at the golden ratio. Which is a mathematical formula that correlates to the fibonacci sequence, a numerical pattern in which is formulated by adding up the two numbers before it- 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13 and so on to infinity, leaving the golden ratio of 1.618. This ratio unifies the properties of light, space, time, gravity and our biological make up within our DNA molecules.
The pineal gland is also referenced in many other occult and ancient teachings as a gateway to higher consciousness and a connection to the spirit world.
In this interview, 8 year old King Nahh, explains the sensitivity of the third eye (pineal gland) and the dangers of falling prey to media programming and brainwashing, which is thought to cut you off to the higher consciousness you can achieve with the third eye.
