In 2013 the Chinese Government adopted The Belt and Road Initiative the (BRI). It’s the most ambitious infrastructure project in the modern history of the world. It spans three continents and includes almost 60 percent of the world’s population.

The BRI consists of two parts: The first part is the economic belt, the second part is the maritime silk road.

The economic belt consists of six corridors that direct trade to and from China. Including Powerplants, bridges, Railways, and everything that makes it easier for Africa, Asia, and Europe to trade goods with China.

To countries that are willing to host these projects, China is loaning trillions of dollars. They promote it as a win-win for everyone.

The maritime silk road is a chain of seaports that connect the South China Sea To the Indian Ocean that direct maritime trade to and from China.
