This 5-Year-Old Model With Down Syndrome Has A Heart Touching Smile

In the world of today, we are slowly becoming more accepting of all kinds of people. The world is no longer as hateful as it was once upon a time. Nowadays, we are bringing people with different identities, sexual orientation, and disabilities into our inclusive world of entertainment, profession, and the society in general. And social media has pushed this inclusiveness in the right path as well by making many people famous through Facebook and Instagram.

The newest social media star is Riley Baxter, a 5-year-old kid with Down Syndrome. He smiles a lot and sends out positive vibes to anyone who meets him, earning him the tag Smiley Riley. Zebedee Management, an agency that brings out different talents among disabled people and tries to create an inclusive environment, discovered Smiley Riley and was awed by his cute smile. An Instagram account of Smiley Riley – @smiley_riley2014– came into the limelight and there was no stopping Riley Baxter anymore.

According to the Down Syndrome Association, there is about 1 baby with Down Syndrome out of every 1000 in the U.K., and 1 baby with Down Syndrome out of every 700 in the U.S. Baxter’s mother Kristy and his father Stuart had no idea that their baby had Down Syndrome when Kristy was pregnant. All the tests came out fine. Only when Riley was born did the nurses notice signs of the Syndrome.

Riley is not very communicative but he can form sentences out of two words. He can also count from 1 to 10 which is quite a progress. He loves to explore different places with his family too. As per his talent page, he loves performing in art class and music too. Modeling remains one of his natural talents as well.

And his talent is getting him mixed up with top brands too. He has several advertising campaigns under his name, including Little Bird Clothing by Jools Oliver. His blonde hair and greenish-blue eyes are making quite a mark among people.
