You can look fabulous and be conscientious of others. Just look to Lady Gaga, a fashion icon, pop sensation, and entrepreneur who is launching her own cruelty-free and vegan makeup line.

As Bare Fashion reports, the American singer and songwriter recently announced her 100% vegan makeup line which aims to inspire creative expression. Gaga announced the launch of Haus Laboratories on Instagram. She wrote:

“Between developing formulas, mixing the shades, designing the packaging and components, as well as casting the models and collaborating on styling, direction, and being the creative director, pulling all-nighters making boards that showed all our imagery and art—this launch is so very special to me.”

“This is a labor of love and passion to be the Warhol of an artist I’ve always wanted to be. I love everyone who works w/ me @hauslabs we are a family on a mission: to inspire bravery, inspire a positive community that breeds self-acceptance. We want you to see you as you see yourself,” she added.

The makeup line includes a variety of products, such as lip liner, eyeshadow, and lipstick. Each comes in six “hauses” (each £46) and include Glam Attack liquid shimmer powders, RIP Lip Liner, and high-shine Le Riot Lip Gloss. Reportedly, there will also be a limited edition duo sets of the shimmer powders, lip glosses, and lip liners.

Because vegan, cruelty-free make-up is often expensive and difficult to find (unless you shop at Whole Foods regularly), Gaga has partnered with the online retailer Amazon and her makeup artist Laura Tanno. Their aim is to make the products as accessible as possible. In an interview with Allure, Gaga explained her vision: “Just like with my music, I wanted everyone to have access to it.”

The Haus Laboratories collection will be available on Amazon for pre-order on July 15 and will be shipped to customers in September.
