Neil Armstrong must be beating himself with a baseball bat now. For over 50 years, he had been the main inspiration behind people wanting to be astronauts when they grew up. The desire to stand on the moon, or maybe some planet used to grip every little child with excitement.

Now, it is Logan Paul, Pewdiepie, and  Dude Perfect who command attention. In a survey conducted recently to celebrate the 50 years of the Moon landing, on behalf of Lego, Harris Poll decided to ask children what they wanted to be when they grew up. The results were surprising, maybe not so much.

The likelihood to be YouTubers or vloggers was thrice more than the chances of being an astronaut in countries like the UK and the USA

3000 odd kids were surveyed between the ages of 8 and 12 and they were given 5 options- astronauts, teachers, musicians, professional sportsperson or YouTubers/vloggers. Half of the kids in China taking the survey did vote for astronauts, but not children in the UK or USA.
