Swedish student Greta Thunberg has shared a powerful message at the United Nations climate summit in Poland.

The 15-year-old has called out “immature” world leaders, warning that “Change Is Coming”

Her video has gained lots of attention across social media, with the speech being shared by leading climate scientists and officials. Senator. Bernie Sanders shared the footage, saying she “called out world leaders for their global inaction on climate change.”

She scolded those in attendance saying “You are not mature enough to tell it like is,” continuing “Even that burden you leave to us children.”

Thunberg spoke on behalf of Climate Justice Now, a global coalition of networks and organizations campaigning for climate justice. Representatives from nearly 200 countries attended the conference in Poland to create the rules which will govern the Paris Agreement on climate change, which has been created to limit global warming.

“You have ignored us in the past, and you will ignore us again,” she told said. “You say you love your children above all else, and yet you are stealing their future in front of their very eyes.”

This is not Thunberg’s first time in the spotlight, in August 2018 she went on a school strike outside a Swedish parliament building in Stockholm, holding a sign reading, “school strike for climate.” Thunberg, said her inspiration came from the school walkouts in the US that followed the Parkland school shooting.

“We have done this many times before and with so little results,” she told CNN. “Something big needs to happen. People need to realize our political leaders have failed us. And we need to take action into our own hands.”
