This Is The Type Of Man That Induces The Best Orgasm, According To Science

If you’re still on the hunt for an ideal partner, ladies — or gentlemen, science has a suggestion as to whom you should choose for the most bedroom fun. According to new research published Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology, men who are “humorous, creative and emotionally warm” make the best sexual partners.

For the study, 103 single women — aged 20 to 69 — filled out a 71-minute survey on their sexual past. Women who were in committed relationships did not take part, as the researchers felt “those in a relationship may feel obliged to rate their current partner more favorably than is strictly true.”

IFLScience reports that the aim of the survey was to determine which traits in men most often contribute to orgasms during sex. Attractiveness matters. Supposedly, women feel more comfortable with attractive partners, therefore, are more likely to climax.

However, there’s more to being “attractive” than just looking good. The researchers wrote, “The pattern found in our results suggests, conversely, that women’s orgasms depended more on traits potentially representing investment and attentiveness (e.g. faithfulness, emotional warmth) than classic markers of good genes and masculinity.”

According to the study, the best male partners possess positive characteristic traits — specifically, being charming and having a sense of humor.  The researchers wrote, “Partners who induced high-orgasm rates were rated as more humorous, creative, warm, faithful, and better smelling than partners who induced low-orgasm rates, and also engaged in greater efforts to induce partner orgasm.”

The team did point out limitations to the study. As the data was from a survey only, it was difficult to assess whether or not certain characteristics resulted in women orgasming more frequently. “For instance, greater levels of humor and creativity may simply contribute to ratings of attractiveness, which in turn increases the likelihood of orgasm,” the researchers wrote.
