A mother in Iowa learned the hard way to keep baby powder out of the reach of children. After walking into the bathroom to check on her 18-month-old daughter Julianna, Sheila Boevers was surprised to find the entire room — and her child — covered in baby powder.

Even though baby powder contains talc and should not be inhaled, the surprised mom kept her  cool. She even took a moment to find humor in the situation. Then, she got to work helping Julianna clean up.

The toddler was eager to help, grabbing a tissue and trying to wipe up some of the mess. In the end, Sheila gave the guilty youngster a bath then vacuumed up the remaining powder.

Like any parent, Sheila became a bit exasperated by the incident, reports Inside Edition. However,  she had another surprise waiting for her… The next night, Julianna found the household supply of body lotion! Lesson learned.

The cute video is a reminder of human-ness and the reality that no one — especially kids — is perfect. Fortunately, this mom didn’t respond with anger and even filmed the incident to not only remind parents to keep household goods locked up, but to inspire others to laugh.
