The revolutionary transport system only releases excess steam into the atmosphere, which works as hydrogen is burned with oxygen to produce the energy needed to power the new train, with water amazingly being the only by-product.

Named the ‘hydrail’ the clean energy rider can travel at 87mph for almost 500 miles per day. With an estimated public release date of the end of December 2017, it is set to replace the 4,000 diesel trains currently in Germany, providing residents with a hugely increased clean air surroundings.

With interest already from the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway, this is a great move towards a cleaner environment, meaning a decrease in dangerous gases.

The report comes just days after the release of Leonardo DiCaprio’s documentary ‘Before the Flood’ which has unveiled the disastrous effects of global warming.
