“When you begin to worry, go find something to do. Get busy being a blessing to someone; do something fruitful. Talking about your problem or sitting alone, thinking about it, does no good; it serves only to make you miserable. Above all else, remember that worrying is totally useless. Worrying will not solve your problem.” ~ Joyce Meyer
The mind is such a powerful tool, tool that can help us craft and shape our lives in a very beautiful, loving and meaningful way, if used rightly. Used wrongly however it can be very destructive, damaging our level of confidence, our relationships and the quality of our lives.
In this wonderful video, Alan Watts, who in my opinion is one of the most inspiring people to ever walk on this planet, speaks about the importance of letting go of worry and compulsive thinking. A really powerful and inspiring message.
With all my love,
