The name Alice in Greek means “truth” and while her wonderland that many believe to be fantasy seems like a far far away realty- the metaphors and messages within it are far more grounded in this reality than we think. Since men and women have been able to speak, we have communicated in the language of story. In many tribal cultures this is how wisdom has been passed down to younger generations. Alice (truth) is a modern day symbol for this for anyone who has the eye to see it.
